If there’s one recent example of an instance in my life when the Holy Spirit leads, it would be this time as I write a brief paragraph about what the Holy Spirit is and what He does. To be honest, it took me a long while to fill this page because there are so many great things to be said about the Holy Spirit that I don’t exactly know what to highlight. So I just stopped, prayed to God and asked the Holy Spirit to guide me, and show me where to begin.

And Romans 8:26 pop out in mind.

“The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered.”

Then I said in prayer, “Lord, all I want is to make you known to family, friends and whoever is reading this blog, so they too could experience your goodness and grace all the more. I don’t want to mislead anyone, so please guide me on what to write or say.”  After a while, I turned my Bible to the Gospel of John, where it tells about the time when Jesus promises another Helper who would remain forever with the believers in Christ Jesus– that Helper is God the Holy Spirit.

‘If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever– the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”

~ John 14:15-17

Furthermore, John 16:13 also says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth; He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”
