I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

(Philippians 4:13)

By default, Myra Colis was born in the mountainous region of the Philippine Cordillera, specifically in the province of Kapangan, Benguet.

By educational and work backgrounds, she has overall 15 years of professional experience in careers involving information, learning, teaching, research, data analysis, marketing and communications. She started out as a journalist, gathering information, writing and reporting for Bombo Radyo Baguio, daily radio newscast back in the Philippines. A couple years later she shifted her career path and started teaching English as a second language first at a public high school in the Philippines and later at an international school in China. When in China, she pursued other interests and studied web design and development as well as business administration, while working as a managing editor and afterwards a content manager at GBI, an information company catering to the medical, healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in China. At present, she now finds a new home in the Netherlands with her beautiful son, a loving husband, and her entrepreneurial pursuit she named as E3 Data Intelligence Services (e3dis.com).

One thing that most family and friends don’t really know about her is that she loves missionary work. At the age of 6, she started attending Sunday schools until she became a Sunday school teacher herself as a young adult. At 17, she begun learning more about God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit through bible studies and even going to a Bible school for about 2 years! And that’s where she found her deep passion in doing missionary works in the form of visiting and praying for the sick at the hospitals, prisoners in jails, orphan kids at the orphanages, and villagers at far-flung mountains of the Cordillera region. She was also actively involved in medical and dental missions as well as school outreaches both in the Philippines and in China.

By birth right, (just like you) she has the right to be the person she wants to be regardless of what others think she can or can’t do on the basis of her social status, age, family background, cultural identity, etc…

Above all, she is a child of God, who is enabling her to do all these that she can do now and more to come.
